From pop-ups to historic milestones! In 2017, Jamila Wright, C’2010, and her husband launched brooklyntea as an online business. From street festivals to pop-ups, they built a loyal following, opening NYC’s only Black-owned tearoom in 2018. Now, they’re set to make history as the first Black-owned tea company at JFK Terminal 4 in Sept. 2025!
