Today’s History & Traditions Convocation was a beautiful tribute to the legacy of Friendship Baptist Church and its deep ties to Spelman! Alumnae panelists shared their experiences, connecting the past to the present for our first-year students. The Granddaughters Club, Spelman’s oldest student organization, also introduced the incoming class to Founders Day traditions—including the significance of wearing white. A powerful reminder that Spelman’s history is alive in every Spelmanite! #FoundersDay2025
