However, Republican House Speaker #MikeJohnson has repeatedly delayed her swearing in, citing the ongoing government shutdown that began Oct. 1. ___________________________________ Johnson first said he’d seat Grijalva upon request but later changed his mind and said he’d only do it if Senate Democrats agreed to support a temporary bill to reopen the government.
