#MagicCity in Atlanta is known worldwide for its wings, dancers, and celebrity clientele — but now, it’s under scrutiny.
In a TSR Investigates exclusive, reporter
@jus2ice sits down with former dancer
#GorgeousDoll, who filed a lawsuit against the iconic club, claiming she and others were forced to pay promoters, share tips with non-tipped staff, and even cover “house fees” up to $300 a night — all while being paid just $2.13 an hour.
Other dancers, speaking anonymously, backed up her story saying they were pressured to give money to a man known as “Baller,” who allegedly collected a portion of their earnings every shift.
But Magic City is pushing back, calling the claims false and “disgruntled.” The club’s attorney insists it runs a tight and legal operation, saying “Baller” is simply a customer who brings in VIPs, not an employee.
So who’s telling the truth? And what does the law actually say about how dancers are paid?
