A deeper essence of emotion in movement is being explored as the dancers find their own identity in the choreography with the guidance of an incredible artist again, pushing for greatness in the 2026 Creative Movers Choreographic Initiative (CMCI). Set to premiere this February at In My Art—February 20–21, 2026, at the Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theater—Bernard’s new work will share the stage with pieces by CMCI choreographer Clifford Williams and Joffrey Concert Group Artistic Director Bradley Shelver.
