New Dad Check-in: The 7.7lb Update! 👶 We had Dario’s first official pediatrician appointment since coming home from the NICU, and the results are amazing! Dario is absolutely thriving! He weighed in at 7.7 pounds (up 1.1 lbs since birth) and the pediatrician confirmed everything, from the mild spit-up to the feeding adjustments, is completely normal as he masters his digestive system. What a relief! The new full-time job is managing the paperwork. I resubmitted the $11,500 NICU insurance claim this week after it got rejected over a technicality. It’s hard work, but when you look at the $1M+ bills some families face in the States, I’m grateful to spend my time fighting for every dollar back.
