When you start photography, the sheer volume of information can be paralyzing. I remember feeling completely lost, jumping from tutorial to tutorial, and producing zero work I was proud of. If youāre stuck in that cycle of analysis paralysis, know that itās completely normal. The thing that finally broke me out of that funk was realizing I was trying to master too many things at once. Instead of trying to shoot every genre with every setting, I decided to master a single constraint. š¤

That simplification leads to two things: consistency and confidence. When you arenāt worried about color grading or changing lenses, you can dedicate 100% of your focus to the fundamentals: light and composition. That period of constraint built my foundation. The second thing that helped me stop feeling lost was creating personal projects.
