I’ve always loved projects that combine creativity and practicality, so I used my cricut Explore 3 machine to turn a simple butcher block into a cutting board that looks like a cookbook. #ad After cutting the wood to size, I designed a “spine” logo in CricutDesign Space, and used Smart Vinyl to make a quick stencil for staining. I brushed on a rich, dark wood stain, peeled the vinyl back once it dried, and sealed it with a food-safe finish. Now it looks like a cookbook sitting right on my kitchen counter.
