In the Mortis arc (The Clone Wars, Season 3, Episodes 15–17), Ahsoka represents “life in balance,” and her temporary corruption by the Dark Side was designed to show what she could have become had she followed a path similar to Anakin’s. Interestingly, her death and resurrection on Mortis were not part of the original script: they were added later by Dave Filoni after a discussion with George Lucas, who suggested that The Daughter should transfer her life force to Ahsoka, symbolizing Ahsoka’s future role as a guardian of balance in the Force.
