Florida State has six running backs on its roster with at least 15+ carries (Gavin Sawchuk, Ousmane Kromah, Samuel Singleton Jr., Jaylin Lucas, Caziah Holmes, and Zay Parks). The fan base had high hopes with true freshman Ousmane Kromah coming out of high school. The former four-star prospect has recorded 49 carries for 288 yards on the ground, along with seven receptions for 139 yards and one touchdown through the air this year through eight games. The Seminoles had to battle the likes of Georgia and Auburn to get him to commit to head football coach Mike Norvell and Florida State when the high school recruitment process was going on. The thought process was that the youngster would be used at a high clip in his first year, given the resources that were spent on him.
