Chronic pain can affect every part of a child’s life, from school and friendships to sleep and mental health. This Pain Awareness Week we’re raising awareness and sharing support for kids and teens living with persistent pain. Holland Bloorview’s Get Up and Go program is Canada’s first inpatient interdisciplinary pediatric pain service. In four weeks, youth aged 12 to 18 work with our team to regain function and return to the activities they love.
