Cathay Cargo recently supported the safe passage of 250 priceless artefacts weighing more than 30 tonnes from the Supreme Council of Antiquities (“SCA”) of Egypt to the Hong Kong Palace Museum for their next exhibition, “Ancient Egypt Unveiled—Treasures from Egyptian Museums”. From Shanghai to Hong Kong, the shipment was overseen and managed by Cathay Secure under vulnerable cargo codes for the highest handling standards. Under CCTV surveillance and highly trained professionals, operations followed the “light, slow, steady” handling standards from security check, pallet build-up, ramp loading, to warehouse breakdown.
