Today in Canada, we honour Indigenous Veterans Day. We acknowledge and thank the thousands of Indigenous veterans for their service, bravery and sacrifice to ensure our safety, freedom and peace. This beaded poppy was created by Ingried Gervin of the Squamish Nation.
