The McCallum Knights are ahead against the Crockett Cougars 35-0 at the half. McCallum started the game with possession, but punted on downs. Sophomore Mason White then recovered a Crockett fumble giving possession back to the Knights. Senior Cooper Hensley then ran for a 71-yard touchdown, and an extra point kicked by senior Max Fullerton gave the Knights a 7-0 lead. A subsequent onside kick by Fullerton was recovered by McCallum, giving the Knights possession once again. Junior quarterback Aiden Ilai then ran for a touchdown to put the Knights ahead 14-0. The Knights then attempted and recovered an onside kick again, and Hensley ran for another touchdown. Crockett then turned the ball over on downs. Senior Jax Hicks then ran 66 yards for a touchdown to give McCallum a 28-0 lead at the half. Crockett then turned the ball over, and junior Devlinn Fitzpatrick scored a touchdown to put the Knights ahead 35-0. The Cougars intercepted a McCallum pass in the endzone to end the half. ...
