My prayer from seminary in September: “As I sit here studying the book of Leviticus in the textbook The world and the word in my OT 1 class in seminary- I am a bit bored. I am getting inspired to study new things but with the goal to bring it to the world, to point them to Christ. It feels so hard in the preparation period when you are passionate. But passion without prep is not prudent. I am thankful for the hard work that I am blessed to be given and challenged with, with the hope to use it for the kingdom largely. But this is God’s word I would like to make known, his name I would like to make great. And I must be a student of Him to be able to do so, lest I fall into pridefulness or self leading.
