“Every opportunity that was given to me felt like an opportunity to grow.” 🐺🎓 For Marlon Boyd, the advisors and counselors in the Exploratory Studies program helped him grow at NC State as a first-generation college student. And it was the communities he found in Alpha Kappa Psi, the Black Male Initiative and NC State Poole College of Management that gave him the support and resources to intern with SAS Software — landing him a full-time job post-graduation. This weekend, Marlon celebrated joining #NCState22 with 20-plus members of his family at the fall commencement ceremony. 👏
