If you told the shy girl filming high school games that one day she would be on an MLB field doing what she loves, she would not believe you. My high school team really brought me out of my shell. The parents were so kind and the players became my friends, always saying hi in the hallways and making me feel seen. They taught me how much this game connects people. Every moment since then has led me here. I hope they know how much of an impact they have made on my life and I am so grateful. #growth #mlb #jserrahighschool #diamondbacks
