My dad was always my hero growing up. There was nothing he couldn’t do or figure out how to do. Always the optimist and seeing the world of possibilities. I definitely got that from him 💪🏼. And like my dad, my husband is a strong leader and doesn’t just lead by words but by actions and example. Eriek loves our kids so well and leads them consistently to Christ. He is equal parts softy and tough guy. 😉 I love watching him have a special and unique connection to each of the kids. Yesterday he was running around playing “Bad Mood” with Itty Bit - IYKYK- after spending the morning rock climbing and tool shopping with our son. And he’s teaching our teenagers how to navigate this culture with love, respect and wisdom. Happy Father’s Day to the best men I know and to all the other fathers and father figures out there!
