I am absolutely bursting with pride! My two oldest daughters decided to take a class to write and publish their own novels this year. Seems crazy for a couple of 13 year olds to do… But I’m excited to report that they both accomplished this huge goal! This was not easy by any stretch of the imagination. They both struggled with different aspects of writing, but they persevered and made it across the finish line. If a big goal has ever scared you, you’re not alone. The idea of failing or falling short can be overwhelming. But if you decide not to try at all, then you definitely won’t hit your goal. It’s completely normal to feel intimidated by a big goal- but does that mean you shouldn’t try anyway? No! Even if you fall short, you’ll be so much further along than you were before, and you will grow, mature and become better in the pursuit.
