Many of the athletes I’m working with right now have quite the range of emotions.
Some are really excited about the potential of a brand new year/season. They feel like anything is possible and this could be their year to shine!
Other athletes are intimidated by the start of this new season because the last one didn’t go their way. They’re feeling overwhelmed by the thought of trying to live up to expectations or make up for what was lost.
Whether this time of year finds you excited like anything is possible or intimidated by the thought of living up to expectations, you need a plan of action.
A plan of action keeps the excited athlete on track toward their goal. A quality plan can reign them in when they wander off course, it can show them where they are in their journey, and encourage them during the hard days.
