It’s 3/07 day so I thought it would be fun to take a look at the evolution of my 307c!
I learned this dive right after 2005 World Championships when I was contemplating retiring. I competed it two weeks later at US Nationals, which is where the first two dives in this video were from. They were pretty good considering I just learned them, but I can tell by my rushed actions that I was nervous and unsure of myself.
Obviously I still wanted to learn more and push my limits so I decided to keep diving- yay!
You can see in 2006 I wasn’t quite as nervous and quick on the takeoffs. I was becoming more confident on my kickouts so they looked a little less like “survival mode.”
In 2007 I was stronger and more patient, so I was jumping much higher on the start and making the dive way easier, even to the point of struggling a bit to control the entry.
