1. Create an action plan. When you want to accomplish big goals that are currently out of your reach, you need to create a plan to get there. This will help keep you on track to achieving your goal.
2. Have purpose. No one is motivated 100% of the time. When there is purpose in what you're working toward, you will have motivation on the toughest days.
3. Preparation. Every athlete knows that physical preparation is vital to becoming a great athlete, but your mind must also be prepared to perform when the pressure is on in the heat of competition in order for your body to do what it has been trained to do.
4. Failure. The only way to move past failure is to look back at it and learn from it. The most important lessons to create change are found in failure.
