What happens when you take a Supra originally built for the drag strip and transform it for one of America’s most legendary road courses? You get this: throtl’s widebody MK4 Toyota Supra. It made waves at SEMA back in 2022 with its 2JZ heart, Fast and Furious vibes, and over 1,200hp. But after years of launching hard in the ⅛ mile, it was time for a new challenge. To make the switch from straight-line to road course, the Throtl team gave the car a serious rework; swapping the drag slicks for Falken Tires, downsizing the turbo for faster spooling, reworking the intercooler and exhaust, and retuning the car for time attack. The result? A 1:49 lap time in TrackBattle Street Mod… and a lot of turned heads. Huge thanks to the entire Throtl team for bringing the energy and showing up in a big way for their first official GRIDLIFE event. We hope to see you back on the GRID in 2026 🤝 #GRIDLIFE #GRIDLIFELaguna #Throtl #mk4supra
