Skating across America, I had a lot of time to think on the road. The one thing that my team and I would always joke about was the fact that I always wanted to be buoyant. I wanted that because every day I was facing gravity, wind, rain, hills and HEAT. The thing that sounded way more pleasant than all of that was just floating in a body of water. So as I was skating across America, I was thinking about where I could go be buoyant and I had always wanted to swim with whale sharks.
