On the eve of their state championship game, here’s a look at the five Monsignor Martin Athletic Association champion Crusaders who were selected to the 2025 All-Catholic First Team. Noah Cosgrove '26 of West Seneca, Hayden Cunningham '26 of Buffalo, Victory Shalamba '26 of Buffalo, Henry Smith '26 of Buffalo and Austin Xiao '26 of Williamsville were selected to the team, which is voted on by MMAA coaches. Cosgrove and Shalamba were both repeat first-team selections. The Crusaders (16-1-1), winners of 16 straight, will play Chaminade (16-1-2) of Long Island in the New York State Catholic High Schools Athletic Association championship at 3 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's University’s Belson Stadium.
