November 11th is Veterans Day! We thank and honor our military men and women for their service to our country. For today, Howard letterpress printed the phrase “Thank you for your service.” in 30 point Caslon font. Above the text is a print of a U.S. flag, which was made using an electrotype from the Al from New Jersey Collection. This was printed with black rubber base ink using our Washington hand press, which was made in 1852. We are open on Veterans Day!
