November 7th is National Fountain Pen Day! This day, observed the first Friday in November, commemorates the fountain pen which was first patented in 1884. For today, Howard literally put a pen to paper for this video when he letterpress printed a small photo engraving. This cut was made roughly 80 years ago and depicts a man running with a fountain pen.
