September 19th is Talk Like A Pirate Day! For today, Howard turned to some large wood type that we have in our print shop exhibit at the Sacramento History Museum to share his favorite pirate related joke. This large letter C is 12 line pica (2 inches). This piece of type was made roughly 125 years ago by the Hamilton Wood Type Company in Two Rivers, Wisconsin.
