My oldest daughter and I had the incredible honor of experiencing Washington, D.C. and Arlington National Cemetery together and I honestly don’t think I’ll ever forget it. 🇺🇸 Standing there, watching the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, you could feel the weight of history and sacrifice in every single step. The silence. The precision. The respect. It’s something that just… stays with you. Everywhere we went from the monuments to the museums it felt like you were walking through the story of our country. Seeing it through my daughter’s eyes made it even more powerful. She asked questions, noticed details I might’ve missed, and I realized what a gift it is to share those moments with the next generation to remind them that freedom isn’t free.
