Commander Kayron Parrish '08 has been named a Jewell 2026 Citation for Achievement honoree. The decorated U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Officer currently serves at the Pentagon in the National Military Command Center as a Presidential Strike Advisor, has commanded two forward-deployed mine countermeasure ships in Bahrain and directed amphibious force operations in Japan. At Jewell, Kayron was a member of jewellhoops, a resident assistant and worked in Facilities. He commissioned through Navy Officer Candidate School in 2010, then earned an M.A. in Leadership Education & Development from George Washington University.
