How do you reduce the risks of freelancing? A side hustle is one way to test it out. You’re limiting your financial exposure and giving yourself space to experiment and see what you actually like about it. There’s no perfect approach, but it is essential to design this side hustle intentionally. To make it work: 1) Align the structure of your services with your time constraints as a full-time employee. As you want to set realistic expectation with a client you bring on and create a schedule that works for you so you don't resent it. As you think through time constraints, you may even realize you’re not in the season of life to take this on. 2) Set a time sensitive goal so you're clear on when you'll sit down and resassess progress.
