As a group, the streamers are now fueling much of the drama and chaos they broadcast. At least nine of the 19 arrests made by Portland police outside the ICE facility since late September that resulted in charges involved livestreamers or right-wing journalists, with those streamers listed as victims in seven of the cases and perpetrators in two, a newsroom analysis showed.
