Nora Wright, an architecture co-op student in our Kansas City office, loves all things art. She enjoys going to plays, movies, museums, thrifting the perfect vintage outfit or her favorite, going to concerts. Her love of music and the arts was cultivated by the creative environment she was raised in. Growing up, Nora’s father was always drawing, and she wanted to emulate his artistic side. In school, Nora fell in love with science and math, and wanted to find a way to bridge the gap between these subjects and all the creative happenings in her mind. Through shadowing her godfather in his work as an architect, she saw a path to melding her creativity with her analytical side. Nora loved the semipermanent aspects of architecture — the notion that she could take an idea and have that materialized into a living space others could interact with.
