Head Football Coach Miguel Regalado has returned to Baker after serving as the offensive coordinator from ’08 to ’16, then building a football program from scratch at Clark University from ’16 to ’23.
Regalado has always been pulled to the Baker University football program and saw accepting the open head coach position as a no-brainer.
As head coach, Regalado led the team to its first conference championship since 2020 and won awards such as the Heart South Head Coach of the Year, Assistant Coach of the Year, Freshman Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Offensive Player of the Year.
He believes his job as head coach is to make the players better people, provide them with resources to get their degrees, and then set them up for life after graduation.
