“The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald” has found a new generation of fans through social media. But it’s never faded along Lake Superior, where it’s heard often in dive bars, restaurants and hotel lobbies, especially this time of year when the gales of November that Gordon Lightfoot sang about make the lake especially dangerous, recalling the night the ship sank with all 29 aboard.
