The day after some of the best cyclocross athletes competed in the Pan-American Cyclocross Championships at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Washington, DC, Route 1 Velo riders competed in amateur races at DCCX. Matt raced in a large men’s 2/3/4 field, Jesper, Rodges, Sean, and George competed in master’s races, and John, Nils, David, and Trey raced in the early 4/5 field. Chris Jones and Chris McGill (not pictured) raced later in the day. Just a few more weekends of cyclocross races remain before the 2025 season concludes with Capital ‘Cross Classic and CX Nationals in December. 📸: @sambrummitt
