With two saves in a thrilling penalty kick shootout, University of Washington goalkeeper Tanner Ijams led her squad to a Big Ten tournament title, winning 1-1 (4-1 PK’s) against Michigan State at St. Louis’ Energizer Park yesterday. The game was played just three days after Huskies senior goalkeeper Mia Hamant died following a battle with kidney cancer.
