Cody Bellinger will once again test the open market this offseason after slashing .272/.334/.480 in 588 plate appearances for the New York Yankees in the 2025 season.
The left-handed OF/1B has split time between two organizations since leaving the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2022 and a third team seems more than likely after Bellinger exercised his contractual opt-out with the Yankees, turning down a guaranteed $25 million salary for the 2026 season.
The Toronto Blue Jays, coming off a heartbreaking World Series loss to Cody’s former club, will look to be aggressive in free agency this winter. The versatile 30-year-old, with a World Series Championship to his name, would add some more pop to the top of the order while being a strong defensive glove.
Would Cody Bellinger be a good fit in the 6ix ⁉️
