On this day, 103 years ago 7 African American women in Indianapolis Indiana formed an organization known as Sigma Gamma Rho Inc. The focus: Education! Our sorority was founded at Butler University which made us unique because the others all were founded at Howard. We are also the youngest of all sororities in the National Pan Hellenic! Founded in 1922 Fast Fwd we now have over 100k members in the US and various parts of the world! Bahamas, Tokyo, Emerites, Germany and more that have joined the sisterhood!
