As a designer, I’ve helped so many clients fall in love with their homes again. Now, it’s my turn to do the same, but this renovation has had its twists and turns! Permitting took a lonngg time, asbestos was found, cloth wiring was found (hiding), more framing than planned is needed (a lot more), and more structural support too. The list is long, frustrating and expensive. And…I’m trained to tell other people to, “stay positive!” “These things happen with an old house!” Even with all the perspective I have, it’s still a JOURNEY that’s only a quarter complete.   The process hasn’t been as smooth as we hoped, but we KNOW it will be worth it…at least that’s what all our clients say!
