Sometimes I have to “take a step back” and realize the miles I go just to put on for my clients everyday. Getting out the chair on the floor, putting on these braces, pulling myself in the frame, it’s more than one could think… it’s beautiful how one could love something so much they’re willing to go this far for it. Barbering is more than just a career for me. When I was down and clients asking if they think imma be able to cut their hair again and I said yes- I had to stay true to that. It’s a burning desire to just be “normal” and live amongst society to be treated like everyone else. It’s something only few could understand. But I share all this with you all not for a pat on the back or a “you’re so strong”. But in hopes to open your eyes that your luxuries of getting out of bed everyday with a functioning body is one of, if not the, biggest blessing to have.
