French Onion Soup PASTINA ✨ I was craving something warm and cozy and had the idea to combine two of the coziest foods I know 🫶🏼 Recipe below!⬇️ You’ll need: - 2 cups stelline pasta - 1 large onion - 2 tbsp butter - 2 tbsp olive oil - 5 cups broth (I used vegetable but any works great) - 1 tbsp balsalmic glaze - Parmesan cheese - Shredded mozzarella cheese - Sourdough bread for croutons To make: 1. Combine 2 tbsp of butter and 1 tbsp of olive oil in a pot on medium heat, then add sliced onion. Mix and turn heat to low - let caramelize covered for as long as you can wait 2. Add balsalmic to onions, then add dry stelline pasta, mix around on medium heat until it’s slightly toasted 3. Add 5 cups of broth (mine was already salty but if yours isn’t, salt accordingly). Then raise heat until broth is boiling, then lower heat to let pasta cook through 4. Once pasta is soft, add Parmesan cheese and mix 5. Add Pastina mixture into a mini oven-safe ramekin dish 5.
