Days one through four of 25 straight. . . . . . . . The theme of the 45th Sundre Pro Rodeo was rain. It was wet, sloppy, soupy, sticky, muddy...there are so many ways to describe the conditions. But what it reminded me was the grit of both committee and competitor. Seeing the men and women of the Sundre Pro Rodeo’s committee pushing through absolutely mucky days, ensuring their well engineered arena was ready to host every event of the Canadian Pro Rodeo Association competition was more than enough to continue slogging through the rainy weekend. Muddy rodeos are truly a photo opportunity not always presented to us in this game, but when they do, you have to take advantage. My equipment survived for the most part, and I am happy with what I was able to create. . . . . . . .
