Hot take? Years ago I was that girl doing workouts made up of 15-20 different exercises🙃
I would sweat my butt off for hours🥵which I thought meant I was burning tons of calories and making tons of progress…yet my physique never changed.
WHY? Because I was doing everything so wrong!!!
I thought more exercises = better workout but that’s not the case at all. Once I cut my lifts back to 5-6 exercises per workout and focused on quality form, intentional reps, purposeful rest periods and progressive overload, everything clicked into place and it actually became so easy to make progress!🙌🏽I started working smarter not harder in the sense that my workouts actually had a purpose and intentional programming behind them rather than just doing whatever I could to sweat a ton😅
