I’m a sucker for a set of squats with descending reps & increasing weight🤌🏽
But how do I choose the weight I’m going to lift???
Based on FEEL!! Some days I feel stronger or weaker than others so I prefer to choose my weight based on how the reps feel; but I still keep track of the weights I’m lifting and I make sure to apply progressive overload over time!
My rule of thumb when choosing weight is to use a weight where your last 1-2 reps of each set are more difficult and slower than your first 1-2 reps of the set, but still doable with near perfect form!! Form is key!!!
