A section of the ceiling at a school in Hanford collapsed on Monday, injuring two students, according to the Hanford Elementary School District. It happened in the outdoor amphitheater at Washington Elementary School on Fairmont Drive in Hanford. About two days after the collapse, work was underway to repair the outdoor amphitheater, where the ceiling had caved in. We spoke to a parent whose child was there at the time of the incident, who said he is grateful his child is safe. "He's seen, he's seen it fall on the poor kid. And you know, hopefully he's, you know, doing good now, but yeah, he's shook up about it.
