In Korea, thereโs one day every year when planes are literally told to pause all takeoffs and landingsโ๏ธ๐ซ
It happens during the CSAT English listening test โ from 13:05 to 13:40 (KST).
The rule is there to keep noise from low-flying planes (especially near airports) from messing with studentsโ listening section.
Since the exam can seriously impact a studentโs future, the government steps in and orders a temporary flight freeze.
During yesterdayโs CSAT, around 140 flights had their schedules adjusted.
On flight-tracking apps, you could even see planes clustering on the runway or circling in the air waiting for clearance.
Do any other countries do something like this too?
