My dad saved my life 25 years ago today by donating a kidney to me! When we did the transplant the average transplant lasted only 9 years. I didn’t know if mine would last a month, a year or more and now here I am 25 years later after living the most amazing, healthy life because of his kidney. What I know for sure is that I wouldn’t be alive today without my dad and the miraculous gift he has given me. The gift of life!
