Four million meals is a lot of nutritional needs met. But it's also a lot of human connections, welfare checks and volunteer hours. And, for WesleyLife Meals on Wheels, it's also a big milestone. The community nutrition program on Oct. 15 delivered its four millionth meal since 2006, when the program came under the umbrella of senior housing and services provider WesleyLife. Nearly all of those meals have been delivered in Polk County, although this year it has expanded to cover all of Warren and Dallas counties.
