It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since I’ve officially been out on my own on the photography journey. It’s been a lot of learning. A lot of realizing that not everyday is going to be filled with photos. More often than not it’s going to be filled with sending out cpu less unanswered emails or DM’s and learning to not let those get you down. To learn that the more you get turned down also increases your chances of being told yes.
I’ve learned that you will have slow times and you’ll have times that you feel like you are buried with work but it’s in those moments that you had to be so grateful to all of the people that trusted us to take their photos. Learning to enjoy the slow times has been the hardest lesson I’ve learned this year. Coming from world that is all about speed and efficiency, you forget that it’s okay to slow down and enjoy the process.
I also have to thank my amazing wife
@jen.m.potter as without her I don’t know that I would have been able to get through the coup...
